Start / finish area

 

The start / finish area is located at Mythenquai.

Here you find:

  • Start area

  • Clothes depot

  • Kinderparadies from the Zürcher Kantonalbank

  • Information booth

  • Cloakrooms / showers (Mythenquai bathing establishment)

  • Festival tent

  • Food stalls

  • Ranking wall

  • Award ceremony stage

Public transportation  NEW 

SBB RailAway and ZVV recommend the following travel routes:     

  • Runners from Lucerne / Zug take the Interregio to Zürich HB and change to the S8, S24 or Tram 7 to Zürich Enge.     

  • Runners from the towns of Thalwil upwards, where the S2, S25 or RE stop, travel via Zurich HB and change to the S8, S24
    or Tram 7 to Zürich Enge.   

 

In any case, a look at the online timetable is worthwhile at the latest the day before. The detailed timetable will be available online in a few weeks at www.sbb.ch and www.zvv.ch.

Arriving by car

There are no parking spaces available. Due to the road closures we recommend you use public transportation.

 

 

Free arrival by train, tram and bus  NEW 

 

All participants in the marathon benefit from free travel on 2nd class public transport to Zurich Enge and back via GA area routes via the usual route including transfer Zurich HB – Zurich Wollishofen. Runners will receive a personal promo code after registration. With this promo code, a free public transport ticket for the outward and return journey in 2nd class can be purchased on sbb.ch/sbbticketshop.

 

Important: on the outward journey, the public transport ticket is valid in conjunction with the confirmation of registration. On the return journey only together with the confirmation of registration or the start number.

All participants in the Team and City Run benefit from free travel in all zones of the Zurich Transport Authority in 2nd class. For the outward journey on the day of the competition, the confirmation of registration or the start number is valid as a ticket. The start number must be shown on the return journey. A personal ID or a personal public transport subscription is also required for the outward and return journeys. (e.g. SwissPass)
